POPCON PRO DOWNLOADS EMAIL FROM AOL AND GMAIL TO MS EXCHANGE 2003 SERVER (TM)

Christensen Software just released POPcon PRO v3.20, a program that connects Microsoft Exchange Server(tm) to all of the user's POP3 and IMAP Mailboxes.

POPcon PRO allows scheduled mail retrieval from all your POP3 and IMAP Mailboxes and automatic distribution to your Microsoft Exchange 2000 and 2003 Server users according to the recipient information in the emails. It supports both POP3 and IMAP mailboxes, with and without SSL encryption, and works with single-user as well as catch-all style accounts that collect email for a whole domain.

Using POPcon PRO you can download email from AOL or GMAIL accounts directly into your Exchange Server’s inboxes. While downloading the email, POPcon PRO uses the mail header information to detect and filter SPAM by querying Internet spam blacklist servers for known spam sources. What’s more, POPcon PRO also has a built-in self-updating antivirus engine scanning every incoming email and blocking infected emails before they even reach your Exchange Server.

Microsoft's latest mail server product, just like its predecessors, does not include support for downloading email from POP3 and IMAP mailboxes. Using POPcon PRO you can save money by keeping your inexpensive Internet dial-up account with one or more POP3 or IMAP mailboxes instead of upgrading to a fulltime leased-line Internet connection.
